Value proposition

Athletes for Change was created by a student-athlete for the student-athletes. This group provides student-athletes a platform to promote anti-racism, as well as implement initiatives that will be educational, impactful, and resonate with local communities. We are promoting young leaders and creating opportunities for future young leaders.

2. Our Impact

  • Athletes for Change not only focuses on having an impact on school campuses, we pride ourselves on having a resounding impact in the community. Through newly created initiatives, Athletes for Change will assist to launch programming that will have a resounding impact on members in local communities.

3. First of it's kind

  • Athletes for Change is the first BIPOC-student-athlete liaison working group formed in Canada that offers a community of support for BIPOC-student-athletes in USports.

My name is Taijon Eccleston-Graham, I'm a third-year student-athlete on the Men's Basketball team at Nipissing University, and I am the Founder & Director of Athletes for Change.
